Dave Mazur incorporates techniques of both Plein Air and Studio painting in his process of completing generational oil paintings.

The completed oil painting on the left was produced using a combination of Plein Air painting, which is French for painting outdoors and studio painting.

This photo was used to assist the completion of the framed painting.

Dave also teaches while doing Plein Air painting. He gives painting tips and lets children paint on his paintings.

This can help give them inspiration to paint, starting the next generation of oil painters.
